So far, operational data collection, monitoring and managing screening processes and performance, reporting, training management, system healt monitoring and maintenance are isolated processes and remain difficult to accomplish without integrated, accurate and real-time data collection. New state-of-the-art eVelocity technology from Optosecurity allows for security checkpoint equipment to be connected and networked, all information from checkpoints now integrated and available remotely.

eVelocity integrated security screening software is an innovative checkpoint security management product that offers multiple benefits, including:

• Live viewing of all X-ray images of items being scanned at a connected checkpoint station from a centralized workstation located anywhere
• Threat detection analysis generated by the XMS Threat Detection Software Suite when in use
• Downloading to the workstation of all archived X-ray images of scanned items from any connected checkpoint station
• Remote monitoring and diagnostics of installed security equipment allowing for more effective preventive and quicker corrective maintenance, resulting in lower cost of ownership
• Collection of operational data from all checkpoint stations and the display on the workstation, including number of bags, alarms per time period at a given checkpoint station as well as multiple combinations of similar operational data
