Dan brings over twenty years of high technology management and design experience to the team. He holds over 40 patents in the area of signal and image processing and computer processor architectures. Dan has assembled and guided design groups that have developed market-leading products with LSI Logic, ATI Technologies, Matrox Graphics, Leitch Technologies and most recently Cirrus Logic. Over his career, he has demonstrated the ability to advance state-of-the-art technology into successful real-world products with significant revenue growth in focused product segments.
Dan brings a unique perspective to the company with leading edge highly complex SoC (System-on-Chip) imaging and systems solutions experience. He brings significant expertise in the area of ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) design and SoC systems that have been sold in high-volume products in the field of 2D/3D graphics processing and 2D image processing.
Dan holds a B. Sc. in Physics from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, and a Masters of Computer Architecture from San Jose State University.
