Second technology transfer to Optosecurity
Quebec City (QC) - October 3rd, 2006, INO announced today a second technology transfer to Optosecurity Inc. of Quebec. INO played an early role participating in Optosecurity through a first technology transfer in 2004. The technology transfer announced today demonstrates an increased commitment to this powerful business and technology partnership.
INO has agreed to provide Optosecurity an exclusive worldwide license for full use, commercialization and further development of the digital version of the Optical Correlator. The next generation Correlator provides substantial technical enhancements that will improve the performance of Optosecurity products.
Specialized in security applications, Optosecurity will introduce the new technology into its products to enhance the consistency and performance of threat detection - improving public safety against terror and criminal threats.
“We're very excited about completing this new agreement which will strengthen our ongoing cooperative relationship. We've been working closely with Optosecurity from the very beginning - the relationship is symbiotic, we learn from their market and application expertise, and we translate this experience into improving and evolving the technology to meet higher performance standards.
